Half Acre Beer & Food Pairing

Friday, March 5, 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.
All-you-can-eat-and-drink for 25.00!

This ultimate happy hour event will feature unlimited microbrew drafts from Half Acre including the debut of two new beers, Ginger Twin and Gossamer, along with Magnus, which is a limited release, Daisy Cutter and Over Ale.

Each beer is expertly paired with tasty snacks from Jake’s to complement the distinctive flavors. In addition, Jake’s Chef Bob and the Half Acre brewers will be on hand to answer questions and talk about the pairings.

Jake’s 2nd Annual St. Patty’s Pre-Soak Breakfast

We’re opening at 8:30 a.m. on March 13th for an all-you-can-eat breakfast for just 5.00! Chow down on as much Guinness pancakes with Irish whiskey syrup, green eggs & ham, corned beef hash, home fries, bacon and sausage as you’d like until 11:00 a.m.

With bloody marys for 5.00 and 20 oz green Bud Light for 4.00, there’s no better place for some early morning drinking.

Chef Bob will be cooking up Irish style fare all day, so after you stroll down to the river and watch the parade, come back for lunch!

Jake's Inaugural BATTLE OF THE BHUT: A Blazin' Success!

Congratulations to Joe Brown and Gabriel Facini on a tied win after eating a whopping 24 of Jake’s XXX wings in 5 minutes.  The men say it was worth the pain to be crowned victorious (and earn a bunch of cool prizes, of course)! 

Jake’s was proud to contribute proceeds from the day to the Chicago Fire Fighters Widows and Orphans Fund.  Jake’s XXX wings also earned the title of official wing of the Chicago Firefighters Union!
